The purpose of the dust bag is to collect the dust and trimmings when using the sander. The adapter to connect this dust bag is sold separately. Please note, this fabric bag is sold individually.

Older sander dust bag.
Needed a replacement dust bag for an older sander. The part is getting harder to find but this is the one place I felt confident would have what I needed. Remove the screws from the sander top
Remove the switch where it is held in the sander
Remove the leads from the old switch to the new one
Place the new cover on the switch
Place the switch were it was
Replace the top of the sander
Then just press the dust bag on
