Description:

This is a genuine part which is specially designed for MTD, Yard Machines, and Yard-Man walk-behind lawnmowers. Mower cables can break through normal use. The ends can snap off, or the cable can kink or fray. Replacing a broken cable is an easy way to keep the mower running. This cable connects to the control bar that is used to run the engine and when it is released the engine shuts off. Over time it may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring a replacement. Refer to the appropriate diagrams for your model to ensure the correct repair procedure. Note, this high-quality rubber insulated control cable is sold as an individual component.

What is the length of the sheath and the length of the entire cable? My part is 39.5" for sheath and 46" for cable.

Control cable broke on my Yard Man mower

Cable ends simply snap into place took less than two minutes to replace. Was really happy that I could get part, rather than replace an otherwise perfectly good mower.

Cables were kinked and throttle lever broken

Removed the kinked cables and broken lever. Replaced with new.
