It is a genuine isolator assembly that is designed for use with Poulan chainsaws. These parts are supplied by the original equipment manufacturer. The isolator help to reduce vibrations from a working equipment. Over time assembly may wear out and begin to fail and cause the tool to vibrate.     One the chain saw handle one isolator spring was broken, a second one was stretched.

    Remove the broken springs and reattach the new springs. New screws were supplied. The top carburetor guard was removed for ease of access to the top spring bolt.

    I removed the air filter cover to gain appropriate access space to remove the spring screw. Then I unscrewed the spring screws from the handle and the engine. I screwed the replacement screw into the engine and the handle, and then replaced the air filter cover. I started the chainsaw and every thing was working like new! The replacement spring was a perfect fit! Easy to replace! plug and play!

    2.Loosen screw holding broken spring end

    3. Attach hooked end of spring first

    4.Reattach bolt with Allen wrench to other end of spring
