This plastic clip is an OEM part direct from the Echo manufacturer. This part is compatible with many chainsaw devices. The clip is secured onto the adjustment screw, and helps to work as a grip for the screw. Please refer to specific instruction manual for repair instructions. This part is sold individually.     Bent tensioner

    Removed side cover, plates, screws and tensioner. replaced with new parts that I had ordered. Reinstalled in reverse order and went to work

    Chain tensioner bent.

    Removed the chain bar plate. Took out the damaged tensioner, replaced with the new one. Put the bar plate back on and put back on the bar and chain. Checked the tensioner.

    Removed chain cover, removed two screws holding plate in place. Cleaned out broken clip and replaced new one in the groove on tensioner screw. Reassembled.

    Loose bar, not able to tension, chain falling off constantly

    Remove chain bar cover and outer plate. Then remove the bar. you will see the chain adjustment parts in the housing. Remove the old parts and replace with the new ones. Install the bar and place chain on the bar. Replace all other parts in reverse order. Tighten the chain to the proper tension.
