This is an original Ryobi replacement part manufactured for use with leaf blowers. Carburetors can seize up blocking fuel arteries causing the engine to shut off or not run. Stagnant fuel can clog a carburetor in just a few months. Replacing the carburetor is a relatively simple way to keep the engine running and extend the life of the blower. This carburetor is sold individually, please see parts diagram for additional parts such as; gaskets.

Hello Deryck, thank you for your question. We recommend replacing the Spark Plug 870174001. One other part to consider replacing is the Carburetor Gasket 901552001. We hope this helps.

Parts Used
Remove the fuel lines from the old carb. and mark them. Then remove the two screws holding the air cleaner and carb. You may want to order a carb, gasket the new carb. does not include one. Remove the old carb. and install the 2 screws carb. and air cleaner. Attach the fuel lines, then pump the primer a few times and hopefully it will start up for you.

1. Remove the choke cover with 5/16 nutdriver
2. Remove two carb mounting screws with 15 torx
3. Remove two fuel lines
4. Remove throttle cable
5. Reverse procedure to install
