Product Description ?

This is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement carburetor made to fit Homelite blower. Its purpose is to create and supply a combustible mixture of gas and air before the fuel mix goes to the engine. This kit includes a metal body carburetor, a rubber primer bulb and a plastic lever. Please note gaskets are sold separately.

You would need a screwdriver to replace this carburetor.

• Remove the rear cover
• Remove the old carburetor
• Install the new carburetor
• Re-assemble and test the unit

    2. Checked with eReplacement parts
    3. Found problems listed as likely culprits
    4. Replaced carb gasket first, but no significant change
    5. Replaced entire carb (easy off and on)

    Remove all of the air cleaner assembly. Remove the fuel lines and throttle from the old carburetor. Remember what port they were connected to. Remove the old carburetor. Install the new carburetor. Attach the fuel lines and the throttle to the new carburetor and the air cleaner assembly.

    Removed 2 fuel lines for carb. Removed 2 screw from carb which the choke plate came off 1st then the carb. Replaced the gasket then the carb put the choke plate back on then the screws, hooked up the fuel lines and test ran it. Very easy to do !

    Removed housing, removed fuel lines, removed two nuts that hold carburetor to the intake, removed gasket then reversed the procedure to put the new one on.

    It really was straight forward and easy to do.

    Leaf blower would not start

    1. Remover six screws from outer housing.
    2. Clamped and detached fuel lines from carburetor.
    3. Removed two bolts holding carburetor to muffler assembly.
    4. Carefully removed gaskets from both sides of carburetor.
    5. Attached new carburetor reusing old gaskets, essentially reversing the process to remove.
    6. Reattached fuel lines.
    7. Started blower using the normal procedure.
