    The blower wouldnt stay running, just a few seconds

    Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Special Carb jet adjustment tool

    Removed air filter
    Removed carburetor with a socket
    Removed gas lines and throttle cable
    Removed old intake gasket
    Reassembled carburetor with new gasket
    Replaced the fuel filter inside the tank
    Primed the carb. Set the choke and throttle to full open
    2 pulls it sputtered, 3rd pull it started
    It ran fine barely had to tweak the jets
    Very happy with results

    Very easy..pull of two nut to out old carburetor.... and replacement a gasket and new carburetor... check the fuel line...fill the tank and go...

    My trimmer would not start,I had it for for nine yrs,and did not want to buy a new one, the carburetor diaphragm was no good

    It was easy just removed the run/choke cover, and removed the two bolts holding the carburetor, and the gas line and replace the carburetor and gaskets, bolt it back together, that was it!

    Engine dies when choke is opened

    Disassemble covers, un-hook throttle cable from carb and remove carb. Pull shield and remove broken heat dam and gaskates. Replace heat dam and gaskets with new replacement parts. Re-assemble, start, and run!

    Homelite blower Carburetor heat dam broke

    Remove airbox and cover. Disconnect fuel lines, and remove the carburetor. Remove baffle, then heat dam. Install new parts in reverse order.

    Heat dam broken

    1. Removed part of cover
    2. Removed fuel hose from carb
    3. Removed filter cover and nuts that held filter to base stud
    4. Removed carb from studs with intake gasket removed screws, removed heat dam and dam gasket
    5. Reversed to install new dam gasket. heat dam carb studs and screws
    6. Install carb .and gasket. filter housing.filterand filter cover
    7. Put fuel lines in place on carb .primed and started. job completed
