Product Information
Description:
This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement carburetor designed for use with Briggs and Stratton engines. It mixes air and gas before the fuel mix goes in the engine. This kit includes a metal body carburetor, two composite material gaskets and an o-ring. You can test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver. • Remove the rear cover • Remove the carburetor • Remove the fuel filter • Install the fuel filter • Install the carburetor • Re-assemble and test the unit |

Motor not starting…
Motor would not start and after disassemble discovered that the carb was all gummed up due to bad gas. It was easier to replace carb, filter, and spark plug. Engine started right up after repairs.
