Product Description ?

This OEM approved replacement carburetor assembly is designed for gas powered backpack blowers. Carburetor plays an important role by supplying a combustible mixture of gas and air to the engine. It also helps to control its speed. This kit includes a metal body carburetor and two (2) composite material gaskets.

To complete this repair a torx screwdriver would be required.

• Remove the air box cover, filter and base
• Remove the old carburetor and install the new one
• Re-assemble and test the unit

    Remove the fuel lines and throttle cable from the old carburetor (Note which tube the fuel lines were on). Then remove the air cleaner assembly and the old carburetor. Install the new carburetor and air cleaner assembly, then hook up the fuel lines and throttle cable.

    There is a repair video online. Just search "How to replace Carburetor on Backpack Blower". Very simple, straight forward repair.

    Carburetor was not working correctly

    Removed the air filter cover and the air filter
    Removed the fuel lines and the throttle
    Removed the screw holding the back of the air cleaner and carburetor on
    Removed the old carburetor
    Installed the the back of the filter onto the screws followed by the gasket, carburetor and the larger gasket and tightened the screws.
    Installed the fuel lines and the throttle
    Installed the air filter and the cover

    Removed the air filter and the two screws holding the carburetor on
    Removed the fuel lines and the throttle and the old gaskets and carburetor
    Installed the new gaskets and carburetor.
    Connected the fuel lines and throttle and tightened down the screws
    Installed the air filter

    Remove the air cleaner
    Remove the two screws holding the old carburetor
    Remove the fuel lines and the throttle and gaskets
    Place the screws through the air cleaner base, first gasket, new carburetor and last gasket
    Then tighten the screws
    Connect the throttle and the fuel lines
    Replace the air filter

    1. Opened filter cover.
    2. Removed two screws.
    3. Removed two fuel lines.
    4. Unhooked throttle cable.
    5. Install new carb.
    6. Prime button 3-4 times.
    7. Choke applied, pull rope.
    8. Engine starts, reset choke lever to run.
    9. Engine idles great, comes to max rpms, runs great.

    I took off two phillips head screws from carburetor,cleaned area replaced the carburetor and the gaskets. Works like a charm.

    Remove the screws
    Remove the carburetor and both of the gaskets
