The trimmer was damaged in a fall. The air lever cover was damaged, the bracket was “smashed in” and the old wing bolt was bent

2.using a screwdriver remove the two screws holding the bracket in place.
3. Install replacement bracket and secure it with screws.
4. I installed a new air filter and then placed the new cover in the correct position and installed and hand tightened the wingbolt.
5.The trimmer cranked up but was idling extremely fast. I discovered a video that mentioned the throttle assembly’s slipping down and creating really fast idle. Using a Philips head screwdriver I loosened the hand throttle assembly and moved it about a half inch nearer the engine, retightened the screws and when I cranked it up, it was much better.

2. Took the old double layer air filter
3. Unscrewed the two screws from the bracket and took it off.
4. Installed the new bracket and screwed the same two screws.
5. Installed the new double layer air filter
6. Installed the new air filter cover
7. Finally, I started the edger. (the edger worked like new)

2. Checked air filter for cleaness. I had to replace it.
3. As I tightened the air filter cover, the bracket broke. So I replaced the bracket also.
