To replace this Blade you would need a Wrench.
• Remove the Lock Nut that that secures the blade
• Remove the old Washer and the Blade
• Attach the new blade using the Washer and the Lock Nut
• Make sure the blade is secure

Best $25 I’ve ever spent.
I found the edger out at the curb in the next block. It looked like the owner wore the blade down and did not know how to adjust the wheel up. The blade was 6”. A new blade is 7 1/8”. I changed the blade and it’s the best edger I’ve ever used. Thank you!

Locked old blade in place with screw driver placed in hole in blade. Used socket set to remove nut holding blade on. Removed blade. Removed c clip with screw driver that holds edge guide in place. Removed edge guide. Put on new edge guide. Struggled to replace c clip back. Put on washer then new blade then another washer. Screwed on nut. Put screw driver in hole in new blade to stop it from moving and tightened it good.

Moved the guard door. The removed the blade nut both washers and blade. Installed the new inside washer the blade then the outside washer and tightened up the blade nut. Then shut the guard door.

I used a 9/16" socket with a long handled ratchet to remove the nut that holds the blade down. I used a screwdriver to hold the blade from spinning as I initially broke the nut loose. Just remove the old blade and washers, replace with new washer, blade (make sure right side of blade is out), and washer, tighten nut down, and it's ready to go.

Missing blade and securing nut

Placed the two washers on the shaft, then placed the blade on the shaft. Held the blade in place with a screwdriver and attached the securing lock nut with an adjustable wrench.

Bad switch on edger and needed new blade

1. Removed handle housing screws and handle housing
2. Removed bad switch
3. Connected same wires in same locations to new switch
4. Re-positioned wires in wire channel in handle housing
5. Replaced screws in handle housing
6. Removed nut holding old blade in place
7. Removed old blade
8. Positioned new blade on bolt with new washers
9. Securely tightened blade nut on bolt
Ensure blade nut is tight; otherwise, the bolt will spin but the blade will not.
2. Removed bad switch
3. Connected same wires in same locations to new switch
4. Re-positioned wires in wire channel in handle housing
5. Replaced screws in handle housing
6. Removed nut holding old blade in place
7. Removed old blade
8. Positioned new blade on bolt with new washers
