After receiving the wrong part from a different supplier, I was a little shy of trying again with a new supplier but Ereplacement was right on the money. It was an easy order. My only problem was with the shipping company. They kept changing the delivery date. Final was a day late. About 36 hours after they said it was on the truck and out for delivery from about 5 miles away.

    Easy repair, thank you.
Paddles received...now found out the cause of old ones coming apart. Weld on the rod holding paddles broken causing damage to paddles. Will now have to order whole assembly. Thanks

Questions & Answers for Spiral Crescent

Am I correct in assuming that if you order (1) part no. 735-04032 for $18.02 you are going to receive exactly (one) spiral crescent? That in actuality you need to order (4) to repair?
Jeffery for model number 247.88720 asked on 2024-01-09
Hi Jeffrey, Thank you for your question. Yes, the spiral crescents are sold separately and you will need to purchase 4 of them. We hope this helps!

rubber blades on auger worn out

    Tool Type

    Snowblower

    Difficulty

    Medium

    Time

    30-60 minutes

    Tools Used

    Socket set, Vice grip

I Removed the old blades in advance of arrival of the new ones as the machine was useless anyway.
when the blades arrived I used the old bolts to reattach the new blades clipping the new blades in place with the vice grip while I aligned the holes. On my machine there is a small rubber blade that fills the gap between the right and left Rubber augers. I failed to order this but Just turned the old ones backward and forced them down to match the left and right and re tightened them. It's probably best to order the new replacement.
That's about all there is to it. I used the machine today on a 5" snow fall and it seemed to perform well.. Note:: you might have to replace the bar on the bottom of the machine that actually contacts the surface that you're plowing, I did that a couple of years ago
