This genuine Dewalt armature and bearings assembly is a high quality item specially designed for electric polishers. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer. Armature is the center piece of an electric motor. If you notice smoke or sparks coming from the vents on the back of your tool, you've probably overloaded your armature at some point. To extend life of the motor, it is advised to replace both carbon brushes when replacing an armature. This assembly includes (1) armature, (1) plastic fan and (2) armature bearings. You will need a screwdriver to complete this repair.
