This filter is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is commonly used in MTD and Troy-Bilt tillers and cultivators. This part filters the air entering the carburetor. Without a proper air filter, the machine may stop running. It should be replaced if it is worn or clogged beyond cleaning. It is sold individually, and a screwdriver is needed to replace it.
