I removed the blades and blade pad & guide assembly, then pulled the adj lever pin out ,so the adj lever could be pulled out from the side of the clipper. I pushed the new adj lever back inside the clipper, then holding the adj lever in place I inserted the lever pin that will fit in the hole of the blade pad. I screwed down the new blade pad assy. Then screwed the clipper blades to the new blade pad. After years of use, the old parts had just wore out, now the clipper works fine.
