This is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement throttle cable designed for use with Ryobi handheld string trimmers. Throttle cable is connected to the carburetor and it stops the engine when you shift the lever to the full choke position. This high quality throttle cable assembly is sold individually, please note the housing, trigger and screws are sold separately.

    throttle cable broke.

    the part number was correct, however, I had to cut plastic tube to make the correct tube length. it had a different clamp to hold tube near carb to be tightened. this was done in order for cable to slide properly within tube. there were no place for plastic bolt down bracket. all in all length of cable was correct and I used the prunner and it all went well. thank you.

    seperate throttle trigger housing pieces
    remove old cable
    install new cable.
    re assemble throttle trigger housing
    connect to carb.

    Took throttle assembly apart, removed old cable, put in New cable, put back together, trimmed my yard :)
