Product Description ?

This is an original replacement part manufactured for use with miter saws. Switches wear out from normal use, and are one of the first parts to break down on power tools. Replacing a worn out switch can be an easy fix, and extend the life of the saw. A screw driver is required to install the switch, please note the switch is sold individually.

Easy to replace and the same as defective part replaced
The part was exactly the same part as I removed. The cost was VERY high but it was cheaper than a new saw!!! It took over two weeks to arrive but we were depending on the US and Canadian mail so why would you expect it to be quick. The saw works like new now

Removed the old screws from the handle, removed the top half of the handle, removed the two screws securing the old switch, unplugged the wires from the old switch and plugged them into the new switch, replaced the screws to hold the trigger/switch in place, and replaced the top cover and tightened the four screws holding the cover to the housing. No special instructions were needed. I just had to be sure I plugged the right colored wires into the right slots using the old trigger/switch as a "go-by."
