So thankful for the ability to keep an old girl running
My latest purchase is for my trusty weed whacker that had some issues towards the end of last year. Most small engine sites don't offer parts for this machine anymore. I was so pleased to find that I could purchase the whole starter assembly because the plastic threads on my original one were stripped. My trusty machine is back rotation now and I couldn't be happier.

Parts Used
Removed the cracked cover assembly.Installed new cover assembly with upgraded screw holders. Then installed and tightened the 3 allen headed fasteners. This was a upgraded cover with reinforced holes for screws. Obviously I wasn't the first guy this happened to. Thanks ereplacement for your assistance.

Removed starter rope assembly
Removed broken starter pawl bridge
Installed new starter pawl bridge with 10mm socket wrench
Installed new starter rope assembly to the trimmer case.
