Remove the hand wheel, remove the lock washer on the outside of the body housing. Inside the housing, remove the clip in front of the outside pulley then loosen the allen screw on the outside pulley half. Protect the end of the spindle with a piece of wood and strike the wood with a forceful blow until the spindle moves toward the front of the housing. Continue driving the spindle backward until the pulleys are free from the spindle. Place the front half of the new pulley onto the spindle, then the new belt and then the new back half of the pulley. You must drive the spindle back toward the hand wheel end of the housing as you do this. Make sure the key and the key ways on the pulleys line up.
Motor pulley change. You mus first compress the outer spring to relieve the pressure so the outer clip may be removed. Be very careful doing this. Once the clip is removed the spring and pulley assembly can be removed and the new pulley assembly slipped on the motor shaft. Good luck, I have now done this three times and it is getting easier.
