Removed joining parts to gain access to motor. Removed spark plug and filled cylinder with WD-40, removed cylinder head, replaced rings, light buffing of cylinder wall and reassemble.

Lost compression and power due to worn ring that was also stuck in ring groove due to carbon

Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Wrench Set, Nutdriver, torqe driver

Removed engine from case, cleaned engine and case, took engine apart and removed piston from head.
Honed cylinder walls, cleaned piston, ring groove, installed new ring and reassembled engine.
Reinstalled engine in case,started engine, and adjusted the carb. Tested the equipment and returned it to the owner.
No special instructions as all 2 cycle engines are basically the same.
