All-inclusive repair kit. Everything I needed and more
This kit solved my air leak problems without replacing the trigger parts. I probably bought more than I needed, but there is no way to know. Directions are clear, but still required U-Tube videos to help understand how to disassemble some of the pieces. Highly recommend U-Tube before you start.

Questions & Answers for Overhaul Maintenance Kit

In the upper part above the driver I found a 1 and 3/4 inch rubber gasket that needs to be replaced. It is flat on top and side ( top is 1/4 inch with a little bit smaller side. ) looking at the bottom of it the side is raised, resembling a hat. Where can I find replacement parts?
Ed Frye for model number RN175A asked on 2022-04-22
Hello Ed, thank you for your question. For your model the part 883837 is a 1" diameter o ring and part 897340 is 3/4" diameter. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you.

I used a video on eReplacementparts.com and the Porter Cable assembly drawing that came with the kit as a guide. It was good, but short on details with regard to the head/vent assembly, which turned out to be the source of my leak. I had trouble getting that spring loaded piston out because it was galled in there by a deteriorated o-ring. And when I put it back in, it stuck again. So it would be helpful to put in some better instruction on getting that piston out, redressing the cylinder surface, and reinserting the piston, making sure it moves up and down against the spring. All told, a successful repair job and very satisfied with the purchase.

Make sure you take pictures of your steps. One gasket has high ridge on one side you could put in backwards if not observant. Instructions for first timers on taking out cylinder was a utuber look up, and actually saw how it was done then it was easy. Very quick delivery to my surprise, I needed it and got it.
