This is a genuine OEM sourced part that is intended to be used with Homelite chainsaws and Ryobi pruners and chainsaws. The plastic oil cap is used to cover the oil tank fill spout to prevent spills and to stop contaminants from entering the tank. The cap includes the tether that connects the cap to the tank and the cap is priced as a single item.

    Remove cover,remove gasket,remove oil tube,replaced oil tube replaced cover gasket,replaced the cover.put fresh bar oil started pruner works great

    Cracked oil tank cover

    Removed cracked oil tank cover. Then I installed the oil cover gasket, then attached the new oil tank cover, and installed the new oil cap.
