1. Removed the original double paddle handle - removed the retainer screw and then handle nut and then the handle.
2. Installed the new single paddle handle and then installed the handle nut and then screwed in the retainer screw.
And in less than 15 minutes the replacement was complete and the two Shimano Tekota 300s with their new single paddle handles functioned exactly the way I hoped they would.
