It is very easy to replace the grass shield by simply removing the 4 hex bolts that hold the unit in place, take off the old unit and reapply the 4 hex bolts. It is that simple.

Determined if all the parts were present. Placed the top and bottom shims between the shaft and the guard. Placed the cover over the shaft and tightened with four bolts. Installed the final horizontal bolt 90° to the shaft.
