1. Remove knob.
2. Carefully lower globe keeper
3. Loosen wing nut holding globe
4. Lower globe carefully, keeping pull chains in place
5. Place new globe on fan, while holding up with one and securing with the wing nut.
6. Place keeper back on, allowing pull chains to go into holes.
7. Replace knob.

Replaced the shade by hand, took off one nut and than replaced shade and put but back on the nut, done.
