Product Description ?

It is a genuine OEM supplied component that is specially produced for use with riding lawn mowers. This replacement gasket is used to create and air-tight seal for the exhaust tube, please make sure to check appropriate diagrams of your unit for correct location and use of this item. Over time gaskets tend to get compressed and may crack eventually requiring replacement. It is made of durable composite material and it is sold individually.

    Remove the bolts holding the muffler
    Removed the screw holding the exhaust tube
    Remove the exhaust tube
    Installed the new exhaust tube with the new gasket
    Installed the new muffler

    Muffler rusted out

    1. Removed 2 bolts holding exhaust pipe to engine
    2. Removed 2 bolts holding muffler to the frame
    3. Scrapped old exhaust gasket from engine block
    4. Installed new gasket exhaust pipe and muffler.
    5. Installed 2 mounting bolts holding muffler to frame.

    1. Removed old tube exhaust pipe and engine gasket.
    2. Inserted new tube exhaust pipe into muffler.
    3. Placed 2 hex head screws through tube exhaust flange and installed engine gasket on screws.
    4. Threaded screws into engine and tightened down.
    5. Repair complete.
