2.Replaced gasket using white grease to make it stick
3. Reattached fuel bowl

Replaced bowl gasket, with gas tank off tipped snowblower on its side so I could remove old gasket and replace with new, tipped upright and re-installed gas tank started and ran for 15 minutes, shut off and let sit to make sure no more fuel leaks.

Carb ring leaking due to age brittleness and shrinkage

Took off muffler shield from craftsman model 24788830 /MTD model 31AH65FH. Checked all hoses, and cleaned up area. Removed carburetor bowl and replaced new O-ring. Held new O-ring in place with a touch of white grease.
