Product Description ?

This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Husqvarna chainsaws. The dust protection is used to prevent sawdust from entering the rim sprocket which could potentially damage the rim sprocket. This dust protection plate is available as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for associative parts.

Typical Chainsaw Maintenance indicated that some parts needed replacement.

1. Took the chain and bar off.
2. Removed the spark plug cover and spark plug.
3. Put a rope into the cylinder to keep the crankshaft from moving (important).
4. Used a socket wrench to remove the nut holding the clutch assembly.
5. Remove/inspected all parts in this area including the dust cover.
6. Replaced the dust cover and then reassembled the clutch.
7. Installed the chain and bar assembly.
8. Removed the rope from the cylinder and replaced the plug and cover.
9. Replaced the rubber gaskets on the oil and gas plugs
10. Started and ran chainsaw to insure everything was working properly

NOTE: Like everything else once you know how to do something the right way fixing anything is easy.:):)
