    Terminal was broken

    Unscrew the cover striped the wire then crimped the terminal to wire then screwed cover back on. It took me about 10 minutes

    One prong on the terminal was broken

    Original plug contact terminal broke.

    Unscrewed hedge trimmer cover. Removed both plug contact terminals and cut them from their wires. Stripped the two wires and crimped the two new contact terminals. Re-assembled cover. Hedge trimmer works good as new! Thank you e Replacement Parts!

    Power plug prong broke off

    Screwdriver, Socket set, Nutdriver, White lube for blade

    1. Disassembled handle by removing 5 Phillips screws
    2. Carefully split handle halves noting all wire locations
    3. Located broken plug prong and removed using flat blade screwdriver
    4. Fitted new prong and pressed in with flat blade screwdriver
    4, Made sure electrical wire to trigger switch was properly attached to prong
    5. Reassembled handle using 5 Phillips screws
    6. Tested unit by plugging hedge trimmer into extension cord and turning On.

    120 volt plug contact broken inside unit

    Loosened screws, pried open housing, held open with a screwdriver, removed broken contact, replaced and soldered new contact, removed screwdriver, replaced screws and tightened. Rather than disassemble the entire unit ( and then everything falls out ) I just pried opened the handle part and held open with a screwdriver.

    The A/C plug-in prong broke off and I've been without the line feed spring for years.

    1. Unlocked and removed the line refill spool and slid the spring on the shaft.
    2. Tried to pry the crimped flanges open but could not. Had to cut and re-strip the wire; had just enough slack in the wire to do this.
    3. Crimped the new contact terminal on and re-assembled handle. Works excellent!
