The really hard part of this was trying to put the one screw in while holding the lever with my knee. The first time I ordered the part I didn't order the screw and nut, found something that worked in my shop. Second time I tried to order the right screw but the one located on the parts list near the deck lift console was not the right size. It is very difficult to reach under the carriage and hold the top part, while keeping the pressure off the whole thing caused by the lever. I swore some.
I didn't realize there was a bent pole in my chicken wire fence hidden behind over grown bush. The first time I bent the lever that sticks out from the side, I didn't know I had done it until half way around the yard. Second time I did it after first install I saw what I had done right away. I felt super frustrated and dumb.
Deck lift was bent when I hit a hidden stump

Only one screw holds the part on and located under the body frame.
It is hard to remove because the gas tank is in the way but you can do it with the right tools(socket screw driver).
When Installing the new part make sure it is seated properly before re-installing the screw.
