, NO TOOLS NEEDED

Grip the 3" wide silver cap that holds up the bowl up. Do this by twisting the 1" silver
smaller cap that holds the bowl up, so it screws out . .
Then center the bowl under the new 3" cap and feed the light chain
thru the opening on the 1" silver cap. Next feed the fan chain thru the grommet on
the side of the 3" CAP. Be sure that the chain is not at an angle to the fan chain
feeder on the body of the fan so it will pull smoothly. Then tighten the 1" silver cap
back onto the screw. It's awkward but not too difficult. Don't drop the bowl!
