This replacement brush holder is specially designed for use with Makita power tools. It is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer. The purpose of this part is to secure the carbon brush around the armature to provide stable contact. It provides an identical replacement for a missing or a faulty component that was installed on a new unit. One durable metal brush holder is included. Refer to the appropriate diagrams for your model to ensure the correct repair procedure. A screwdriver will be needed to take apart the housing when replacing this brush holder.

Removed Handle. Pulled out wires and wrote down were to replace them. Removed housing. Then armature .Put armature in housing. screwed new housing on. put new brush holders and brushes in. connected wires. Replaces handle. And was done. Works now.
