    Screwdriver

    Remove housing covering brake band and spring. Remove old brake band and spring.
    separate old brake band from spring. Attach new brake band to spring. Put brake band back into housing. Put the end of the spring that is connected to the brake band into the spring housing. Compress the spring from the other end and push it back into the spring housing. (make sure that the bar break is released). Put back the plastic housing parts that cover the brake band and spring. Then always make sure that the bar brake is released before you put the side plate over the clutch, bar, and chain.

    Remove cover
    Remove chain and bar
    Brush clean housing
    Remove brake spring
    Remove broken brake band
    Replace with new brake band
    Replace brake band spring
    Reinstall bar and chain
    Ensure brake band spring is in (locked) foward position
    Replace cover
    Adjust chain
    Test Lock/Unlock positions

    brake band broken ,chain oiler not working

    Oil tank vent located under wear plate above oil outlet was plugged with debris. removed wear plate and blew out with compressed air.
    The only trick to replacing brake band was for reassembly was to remove clutch drum to reset the hand guard engagement.
