This is an original MTD replacement part. The blade assembly is designed by the manufacturer for use in trimmers. This part includes a metal blade, two screws, and two nuts. It is attached to the shield assembly over the trimmer head to cut the trimmer string. You will require a wrench and screwdriver when replacing these items.
