Great part easy to install
The old one had been “rubbed” by the pulley. It’s metal was worn down. This was the exact part, just screwed it in.!

Unscrewed the bolt and replace belt keeper. It should be noted that this Poulan model belt keeper fit my older Poulan Weed Eater Lawn Tractor that was no longer available.

Belt guide broke, causing belt to fall off pulley and disengage mower

Parts Used
1. Removed bolt holding old guide to frame
2. Bolted on new guide and tightened securely
3. Moved engage lever to tighten belt (engine not running)
4. Bent new guide to just touch belt, using bar or similar tool
5. Tested by mowing to be sure belt did not fall off.
