1. Watched a video on youtube and learned how to replace the bearings.
2. Ensured that I placed all parts removed in a small coffee can so they wouldn't get lost
3. I had to remove the shaft that holds the planers knives, and it could only get removed in one direction.
4. Once shaft was removed, removed old bearings from each side and then reversed the steps to put back together.
