  • Needed a replacement cord for an old pair of hair clippers...
The Sunbeam clippers were an older model, no longer in production, but I always liked them, so I wanted to find a replacement cord. A helpful rep at ereplacementparts.com suggested this cord, which was rated at or above the electrical requirements of my clippers. I trimmed & spliced the 2-wire cord onto the trimmed remainder of the existing cord, taped the splices securely with electrical tape, and added tape between splices before carefully positioning the spliced section inside the case or housing of the clippers. Once the case was reassembled, I taped the end of the clippers where the cord enters the case, and also made several wraps around the cord itself. Now I have my favorite old clippers back in operation, perfectly functional with a nice sturdy cord, no more broken wires throwing dangerous electrical sparks! Cheers!
