This is an OEM replacement part sourced directly from Char-Broil for use with a gas grill. The purpose of a vaporiser bar is to distribute the heat evenly and prevent grease drippings from reaching the burner tubes which prevents flare-ups. Unfortunately, over time the vaporiser bar will rust and require replacement. This part is made of a high-quality metal and is sold separately.

and still dropped it off at a neighbor's house!! Took a side trip out west to Utah before getting to Georgia then NC and back to Macon GA where it was delivered to wrong house. At least the parts look ok and will install when rain stops.

BBQ burner and vaporizer eroded, unit caught fire, drain can involved, burned the gas line.

1. Cut, ripped or otherwise disconnected damaged parts.
2. Scraped inside of BBQ clean.
3. installed burner onto gas valve jet ends. Perfect fit.
4. Installed gas supply line & regulator. Had to cut finished end manifold termination off the hose because my gas valve has a nub. I fit the trimmed end onto the nub with some silicon cement and secured the connection with a small hose clamp. (That's how it came newly assembled 25 years ago).
5. Turned gas on and sprayed new connections with soapy water. No leaks.
6. The Supreme Test - Light it up. Works fine. Cooks great !
I never expected to find these parts for a BBQ so old. Its destined to outlast me. thanks guys!!

1. Pulled up the grill
2. Removed old vaporizer bar
3. Removed old grill rocks
4. Replaced grill rocks with new
5. Installed new vaporizer bar
6. Rearranged grill rocks to allow vaporizer bar to sit on the pegs
7. Cooked and enjoyed grilled pork ribs.
