Easy Repair works Great !
Got this and a burner at same time for a charbroil model 4637917. A 1998 model. I have owners manual. It has 1 spring clip holding the burner should be two and none on side burner. It works great otherwise ! I think the missing clip is called Venturi Clip. The owners manual says two clips but only one is used and goes in hole at bottom of burner rod !

Purchased this grill May of 2003. Great product just needed some upgrades. Vaporiser bar was nonexistent and burner assembly had deteriorated to a hazardous and unusable condition. Parts were delivered promptly and installed/fit perfectly. Unclip the venture tubes and slide back through the bottom grate, pop on the bar and voila, maybe 14 more years. Bonus was a new working sparking electrode, just hook up pigtail lead. I spent about 2 1/2 hours scraping and cleaning years of "seasoning", but the actual install was under 30 minutes. 1. Unscrewed the existing tiny screws in the old burner assembly
2. Unscrewed the bracket that was a part of the old assembly (used pliers because there was a rusted tiny nut on the screw)
3. Removed the old burner
4. Positioned the new burner
5. Attached new burner to back of knobs with existing tiny screws
6. Placed the new vaporizer bar in place
