Generator on old Coleman Stove model 425E

Removed the old generator, wrapped some Teflon tape on the threads of the new generator and screwed it on. The new generator was an exact replacement for the old one and worked perfectly the first time I tried it. My only difficulty was in removing the old generator. It had been in place 40+ years and didn't want to unscrew. I had to brace the tank solidly and use an 18" Crescent Wrench to break it free.
