This attachment allowed for the use of a vac in place of the dust bag. Must have if you purchase the black and decker belt sander as the supplied dust bag does nothing to reduce the dust. With this you just slip off the dust bag, slip on the vac attachment and hook up your hose. Black and Decker should supply this with the sander but since they don't glad that your site does. Thanks!
