This is an authentic replacement part that is OEM sourced to be used with lawnmowers from Yard Machines, Bolens, MTD, Yard Man, and Troy-Bilt. The metal spring is used to provide torsion between the rear door and the mower deck to keep the door closed when the bag frame is disconnected. This spring is available as an individual replacement part.
