Description:
| This is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement throat plate. It is specially produced for Ridgid compound miter saw. Throat plate plays an important role by reduce splintering and chip-out on the cuts. It also prevents thin slices of wood from jamming in between the blade and the plate during a cut. This throat plate is sold individually. Please note, in order to use your compound miter saw, you must cut a slot through the zero clearance throat plate to allow for blade clearance. • Set your saw at 0° miter, turn saw on and allow the blade to reach full speed • Then carefully make a straight cut as far as it will go through the throat plate • Turn your saw off and allow the blade to come to a complete stop before raising the saw arm • Next, adjust the bevel angle to 45°, turn your saw on and allow the blade to reach full speed • Then carefully make another cut through the zero clearance throat plate • The slot in the throat plate will then be wide enough to allow the blade to pass through it at any angle from 0° to 45° |

Hello Nick, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, that part is not listed as a compatible part for your unit. The throat plate for your unit comes in two pieces, part number 829989 (two would completed the plate). Unfortunately, the part is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued. There is no part substitutions listed. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. Hope this helps!
