1. Disassembled battery holder and main body halves to remove switch
2. Unsoldered 2 wires from old switch attached to + and - battery prongs
3. Soldered wires from new switch to battery prongs
4. Placed switch in position and made sure all wires were routed properly
5. Placed main body halves in place, put battery prongs in battery holder halves
6. Checked clutch, speed switch and forward/reverse switch not binding/operating mechanically
7. Replaced all screws, installed battery and checked operation

Screwdriver would not work

Screwdriver, Pliers, soldering iron, solder

Take pictures of before and/or refer to part diagram
Pay attention to battery compartment alignment
Pay attention to routing of LED light wiring - how it tucks etc
Disassemble body - disassemble battery section first - remove battery, pry out two metal tabs at bottom of battery compartment. Watch out for tiny light switch button.
Disassemble other half - there is one screw under sticker.
Carefully pull out switch - switch terminals are plugged in to motor.
De-solder switch terminals
Solder new switch
Reassemble

Driver would run in reverse but not forward.

1. Took apart.
2. Removed the old switch.
3. Connected the new switch.
4. Reassembled and tested.

Right direction switch stopped working.

1. Opened the outer shell of the driver.
2. Used a soldering iron remove the old switch wires (color matched).
3. Used a soldering iron to weld new switch wire in place.
4. Closed outer shell of driver and tested.
5. During test I noticed the new switch wires are opposite of OEM wires, (not color matched.
6. Needed to repeat the entire process as a result.
