Remove casing screws from the cordless screwdriver (Pay attention to screw sizes, some are short and some are long for where they go). Their are a couple of connectors that need to be removed
Removed old switch very carefully and pay attention how you disassembly the cordless screwdriver.
Note: The slide lever (The lever that locks the forward and revers switch) does not come with the new switch assembly and must be removed from the old switch. You must lift the slide lever off from the side ( you may need a small screwdriver) to lift to get it to come off the old switch assembly, be careful not to break the lever, It is plastic. Install the slide lever before installing the switch into the cordless screwdriver.
In stall the switch assembly into the cordless screwdriver. and revers the procedure to put it back together.

I hope this is of help.

Opened up the screw driver and removed the switch assembly (took pictures first). Connected the new switch wires and put it back together making sure that it looked just like the pictures I took. I cleaned the entire unit and blew out any residual dust with compressed air.

Be careful of the tiny leaf spring that sits in the left side of the front housing. This can easily fall out and get lost. It puts tension on the clutch dial keeps it in position after selecting the torque setting.
