This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement starter housing assembly is designed for use with Homelite handheld trimmers. It is the mechanism that allows a user to pull-start the engine. It includes a plastic housing, a starter pulley, a starter spring and a pull rope with a grip. If any of the components on your assembly are damaged, this will provide an easy all in one replacement. Please note, the hardware to secure it is sold separately. You will need a screwdriver to perform this repair.

Replaced whole cover with new clutch and cord, just 3.00 more. Main torx screw to housing didn't come out. Had to drill off head. Replaced housing then replaced screw. Put gas in the weed eater and it started on second pull. Was very pleased with the quality of the replacement part, and will definitely use your products again. Than you. Chris C.
