This genuine OEM center spray arm, also known as a wash arm, is a replacement part designed for dishwashers. The blade has a length of approximately 19 inches and the arm shaft has a length of 12.25 inches. It is positioned at the base of the dishwasher where it disperses water and dish soap for cleaning during the wash cycle. Over time the spray arm may break, become dislodged the arm or clogged with food debris and soap. If your dishwasher has a faulty spray arm, you will hear rattling and banging during operation, the water spray will be weak, and the dishes will likely not be cleaned adequately. To begin the repair, ensure that the dishwasher is disconnected from the power source. Open the dishwasher and remove the lower rack. Once you have access to the spray arm, remove the fasteners that hold it in place, and pull it out of the appliance. Position the new arm over the mounting hole and reinstall the fasteners to secure it.
