The drive shaft for the roller had broke off. Hair build up on shaft.

Watched a video about how disassemble the sole plate. A little struggle to separate the two halves because they've never been apart. Then had to roll the drive belt onto the motor to reassemble. Otherwise it was not hard.

Hose had a hole. Bottom plate was scratched and leaving marks on floor

Hose - remove old hose, replaced new hose - clips on vacuum.

1. Removed the sole plate and disconnected the belt from the beater brush assembly.
2. Reconnected the drive belt and screwed the new plate on.
