I had to modify my original saw base to cut as close to the wall as possible.

I removed the original shoe from the Milwaukee circular saw, modified it for a job, then reinstalled a new shoe to make it like new. The job is straight forward using Torx drivers and standard wrenches for the repair. I believe I used T-20 and T-15 drivers to do the replacement.
