Product Description ?

Genuine OEM replacement part, this part is sold individually. This part is used on all of the saws shown below. The purpose of the Shoe Assembly is to press it to the material being cut to make a better cut and less vibration to the user. It can be adjusted for different length of blades, it also pivots for angle cuts. It is advised to always use this part. Otherwise you could cause damage to the saw.

    Similar part
    Part was simalar in construction but mounted to tool differently. Originally the guard mounted with two allen bolts while the replacement mounts with one bolt. Am looking at adapting part but have not started yet.

    , sharp knife to make hole in the rubber to get to the allen

    Carefully make a small, x shaped cut in the rubber covering so that the allen screw can be reached. This might not always be necessary, but I had to tighten the screw to get the clamp to hold the shoe solidly.
